# Share and Export Dashboards in Klaritics

> Share Klaritics dashboards with teammates using role-based access. Export dashboard data for offline review, presentations, and reporting.

Once you build a dashboard in Klaritics, you need to get it in front of the right people. Sharing controls who can view or edit a dashboard based on their role, while exporting lets you pull data out of the platform for presentations, reports, or offline analysis.

## Share a dashboard

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open sharing settings">
    Open the dashboard and click **Share** in the top right.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose visibility">
    Select who can access the dashboard. Options are typically limited by role: admins, analysts, or specific users.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set permissions">
    Decide whether recipients can view only or also edit the dashboard and its widgets.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm">
    Click **Save** to apply the sharing settings. Recipients see the dashboard in their own dashboard list.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Note>
  Role-based access controls what a user can do with a shared dashboard. A viewer cannot edit even if you grant edit-level sharing to their role.
</Note>

## Export a dashboard

Exporting gives you a snapshot of the dashboard and its data outside Klaritics. Use exports for board meetings, investor updates, or quarterly reports.

* **Image export**: Save the full dashboard or individual widgets as image files for slides and documents.
* **Data export**: Download the underlying numbers behind each widget for spreadsheet analysis or further processing.

<Tip>
  Exports are static snapshots. If your data updates frequently, share the live dashboard instead of relying on exported files.
