# User Activity Template

> A Klaritics dashboard for monitoring active user trends, first-time event usage, and distribution across device, country, and platform.

The User Activity template helps teams monitor user engagement, activity trends, recurring usage behavior, and retention patterns across their product.

It provides a centralized view of:

* Active user trends
* User engagement composition
* Most active events
* Retention behavior
* User recurrence patterns

It serves as a foundational analytics workspace for product, growth, and customer success teams.

## Configuration panel

| Input | Description |
| :- | :- |
| **Activity Event** | Single-select |
| **Filters** | User properties and event properties |

Inputs are fully editable, and changes trigger real-time updates in the charts.

## Charts

Clicking a chart title opens the corresponding creation page, pre-filled with your selected event and a Last 30 Days date range.

### Active Event Users Chart

Displays the number of unique users performing the active event on each day.

* **Label:** Uniques *(top-right)*
* **Title:** "How many users are active each day?"
* **Opens:** Line Chart creation with measure **Uniques**

### First Time Active Event Chart

Displays the number of users who did the event for the first time on each day.

* **Label:** Uniques *(top-right)*
* **Title:** "How many users performed the event for the first time each day?"
* **Opens:** Line Chart creation with measure **Uniques**, with the **First Time** filter applied

### Device Type Chart

Displays the number of users coming from which devices.

* **Label:** Uniques
* **Title:** "Device Type: What devices are your new users on?"
* **Opens:** Pie Chart creation with measure **Uniques**, breakdown **Device Type**

### Country Chart

Displays the number of users in each country.

* **Label:** Uniques
* **Title:** "User Traffic: Where are users from?"
* **Opens:** Bar Chart creation with measure **Uniques**, breakdown **Country**

### Platform Chart

Displays the number of users in each platform.

* **Label:** Uniques
* **Title:** "User Traffic: Where are users from?"
* **Opens:** Pie Chart creation with measure **Uniques**, breakdown **Platform**
