Custom widgets give you the most flexibility in Klaritics. You can build a custom widget from any supported analysis type, not just charts or tables, and configure alerts directly on the widget so you are notified when conditions change.

When to use custom widgets

Use custom widgets when:
  • You need a visualization that does not fit the standard chart, metric, or table patterns
  • You want to combine or compare results from different analysis types in one tile
  • You need to set up an alert on a widget that is not covered by the standard widget types

Build a custom widget

1

Create the analysis

Build any supported analysis, such as a funnel, retention curve, or engagement matrix.
2

Pin as custom widget

Click Pin to Dashboard and choose the custom widget option. Select the dashboard where it should live.
3

Configure the widget

Adjust the display settings for the widget, such as title, time range, and any available visualization options.
4

Set up alerts (optional)

Open the widget settings and add an alert. Define the threshold or condition that should trigger a notification.
Alerts on custom widgets depend on the underlying analysis refreshing on schedule. If the analysis is stale, the alert may not evaluate correctly.
