When to use Funnels
Use Funnels when you need to:- Measure conversion across a product flow
- Find the step with the highest drop-off
- Compare conversion rates across user segments
Build a funnel
1
Add funnel steps
Define the ordered events that represent your flow. The first event is the entry point, and each following event must occur after the previous one within your chosen time window.
2
Set the conversion window
Choose how long a user has to complete the full sequence. Common choices are one day, seven days, or thirty days.
3
Apply filters and breakdowns
Filter to a specific audience, or break the funnel down by a user property to compare segments side by side.
4
Review drop-off
Inspect the step-by-step conversion rates. Klaritics highlights the largest drop-off so you know where to focus.
Save and share
Save the funnel once it is configured. Pin it to a dashboard as a widget so stakeholders can monitor conversion over time. You can also set alerts on the widget to be notified when conversion at any step changes significantly.Next steps
- Retention to see if converted users come back
- User Flows to explore all paths users take
