Build an engagement matrix

Choose the engagement events
Select the events that represent meaningful activity, such as logins, feature usage, or content interactions.

Set frequency and depth axes
Define what counts as frequency, such as sessions per week, and what counts as depth, such as events per session or features touched.

Apply filters
Narrow the matrix to a specific time range, platform, or user property so the segments are relevant to your current focus.

Review segments
Examine each quadrant to understand the size and behavior of each group. Click any segment to see the list of users it contains.
