Pivot Tables in Klaritics let you slice event data across multiple dimensions in a clean, tabular format. Instead of a single chart, you can place one dimension on rows, another on columns, and choose the metric to aggregate. This is useful when you need to compare many segments at once or export structured results.

When to use Pivot Tables

Use Pivot Tables when you want to:
  • Compare metrics across two dimensions at once, such as feature usage by country and device
  • Export structured data for external reporting
  • Find the highest and lowest performing segments in a grid view

Build a pivot table

1

Choose the metric

Select the event and aggregation, such as count, unique users, or sum of a property.
2

Set row and column dimensions

Pick the user or event properties for rows and columns. For example, rows by plan type and columns by month.
3

Apply filters

Limit the data to a specific time range, platform, or audience so the table stays focused.
4

Review and sort

Scan the grid to identify top and bottom performers. Sort rows or columns to bring the most important segments to the top.

Save and share

Save the pivot table configuration and pin it to a dashboard as a widget. You can also set alerts on the widget so Klaritics notifies you when a cell value crosses a threshold you define.
Pivot Tables work well with Cohorts as filters, letting you compare behavior across custom user groups in a single grid.
